Taking Flight

My journey with Amal was fantastic. “In the blink of an eye, life passes you by.” The three-month period came to a close with pleasant memories. Perhaps I should have spent less time accumulating so many memories and establishing such wonderful friends. I’m referring to true friends. Learning passed the time, and the last session came to an end. I can now obviously recognize how I was successfully translated into a new form of myself.

Virtual Graduation of Amal Academy Batch 191

Despite the fact that each session has its own relevance and significance, the final session was crucial to attend and experience. The first virtual session that I was overly enthusiastic about. I still can’t believe that this past weekend marked the conclusion of my fellowship. There will be no session next week, no gup shum, no greeting by Program Associate, and no “over to you Ma’am Aliha” from Program Manager.

This course has a lot of choices for me. On a single platform, meet and talk with the entire country of Pakistan. Amal’s mission is to educate and inspire young people. Incredibly, Ma’am Iman, our programme manager, and Ma’am Aliha, our programme associate, are both excellent developments for me. They have had a significant impact on my thoughts, goals, and have shown me the way to my destination. Amal Academy directed me towards the proper route and unlocked a previously closed section of my mind, which I refer to as the “magical door.”

Showing Gratitude

Gratitude is the first factor that influences my attitudes and beliefs regarding others. During the last session, I discovered that each colleague expressed gratitude to our Program Manager and Program Associate. Many of them had no words to express their thanks. When fellows thanked each other in such a gracious and humble manner, the world came to a halt. They were thanking their colleagues, circle members, Program Manager and Program Associate for their accomplishments. Smiles, emotions, and gratitude all play a role in your happiness. “Train your mind to perceive the good in everything and in every moment.” All it takes is a positive mindset.

Ek and Ek Gyiara:

It may sound sand unacceptably strange, but we both learned and worked under the same roof. Our most recent activity, the Scavenger hunt, emphasises teamwork. I noticed that by working together, we can overcome any obstacles and solve the problem quickly. You could be the winner if your concept sparks a thought in another member’s mind. Teamwork compensates for each other’s weaknesses while increasing their strengths. Take advantage of the circumstances and work together as a team.

Teams work and Awards to fellows as fellowship finished

Even when you’re not working, it’s crucial to connect and do activities for your emotional well-being:

Being emotional is beneficial since it relieves stress on your mental health. It’s critical to do things that make you feel good.

Emotions bind people together for a variety of reasons. Emotions are the source of your strength, but they may also be the source of your weakness. We should be able to manage our emotions completely. Something bad can happen at any time. Indeed, we have perfect control over our thoughts, but not over our emotions. Emotions, in most cases, cause the person to be perplexed.

I will apply, what I learn in the future:

I learned a lot from Amal and Batch 191. It’s essential to “learn and only learn.” Working provides us experience while learning makes us perfect. You will gain the desired experience if you learn well. To improve your CV and resume, you should start by doing an internship and gaining experience, which is either free or offers you a lower stipend.

Attend the interview with confidence and try to keep eye contact with the interviewer; always conduct research before attending any interview for a job position that you are interested in. Find the name of the interviewer that can improve your confidence and passion for the organization.

At the end of your interview, ask questions, but avoid asking salary-related inquiries. If feasible, request an email address and send a thank-you note within 24 hours following the interview.

Last but not least, express gratitude at the completion of the interview. Make an extra effort to achieve your long-term goals by customizing your Resume and Cover letter to the position you’re applying for.

Ending my fellowship by expressing gratitude to Amal Academy and its personnel for providing us with the opportunity to learn and experience an interview with an experienced interviewer.

Thank you so much, Ma’am Aliha and Ma’am Iman, for your weekly sessions and insightful input on our project progress. Best wishes for the next fellowship and selection process for the Amal team. More than anything, I’ll miss the weekly meetup.
